As of February 10th I’ll be doing this:
For a month. (Travelling around the countries that is, not badly drawing on maps). Hopefully I don’t get eaten by killer chickens, or sucked into the internets and converted into some sort of virus. The plan is to wander around, posing as tourists, and taking photos (perhaps of high-tech military installations). No climbing due to the injured finger.

Is this a map of where to travel to maximise your chances of getting a rare SE-Asian virus? If so, you’ve left out southern Laos – some awesome ones there!
Southern Laos is the place to go you reckon? Well I was planning on licking pretty much everything I could see in the markets I go to, so maybe that will have to do instead. You can’t fit everything in in a month.
I’ve heard very good things from my family about traveling in Vietnam! A friend just left on Saturday for two weeks, so I’ll give you the low-down when he gets back, if you like.
Although it will be too late by then! Oh well, maybe you will pass each other at one of the touristy kinda spots.
Ah, it’s a popular place! I think I’ll just be heading into the country as he is leaving though… thanks anyway :)
That’s a lot to travel in just one month!
Good luck :)
Tonsai’s pretty juggy, not much crimpy stuff. you should be right to climb ;p
