the next month

As of February 10th I’ll be doing this:

For a month. (Travelling around the countries that is, not badly drawing on maps). Hopefully I don’t get eaten by killer chickens, or sucked into the internets and converted into some sort of virus. The plan is to wander around, posing as tourists, and taking photos (perhaps of high-tech military installations). No climbing due to the injured finger.

building a pillow fort

A hot weekend at Arapiles saw us baking in dry 40oC heat in the Pines.

Swimming in the fire dam, somehow avoiding death by rope swing, and not catching any fish

And hiding in nice cool caves (well I did anyway).

In conclusion: lying on cool shady rock on a 40oC is much cooler than sitting in my un-airconditioned apartment on a 40oC day. Climbing in the sun is not the coolest option.

an house guest

The first spider to come and visit my new house. I might call him Harold (after the sheep). He didn’t fancy having his photo taken though, as soon as I pointed the camera at him he kept running away (waving his little legs in front of his face going ‘No photos, no photos!’).

trees and water

Walking around the Yarra Ranges National Park on Sunday, the experimenter found large amounts of both trees and water. It can be assumed that these are always in place, and not just a temporary phenomenon. Hence the hypothesis was validated. Error calculations are shown below.

only, what are they doing up in the trees?

The goats wouldn’t play, so instead we have a sheep. His name is Harold.
