The world record for the number of decimal places someone has memorised Pi to is 42,195. That world record has stood since 21 year old Hiroyuki Goto of Japan recited Pi from memory, with no errors, on 18 February 1995.
According to the Pi world ranking list, there are at least four people planning a record breaking attempt this year. And someone has recited Pi to 2830 places while juggling three balls. People do strange things.
Me, I’m going climbing this weekend. I hope.
We went climbing on Sunday, at Annapolis Rocks, MD.
We climbed on rooves.
It was cold.
