I haven’t been skiing at the resorts a whole lot this year, but every day I’ve been to Sunshine has been a powder day. Maybe not so surprising seeing as they’re on track for a record amount of snowfall this year.
We barely ever stop for photos when skiing at resorts, so here’s a couple of me, just for something different.
We ended up stuck at the hill until the end of the day, not such a bad thing in this case. The avalanche control done by Parks Canada on the Sunshine access road had led to a rather large avalanche. It took them a while to get the road clear, and driving past on our way home, you could see the slide was full of mature timber.
