While in Squamish I developed a … habit… of eating wasabi peas. In Canada they came in huge bins in the Save on Food supermarkets (which have huge bins of pretty much everything, and are a fantastic invention).
I have been unable to find any local wasabi pea sources. I need more wasabi peas! I miss the recoil of having eaten a pea with too much wasabi paste on it… I even miss licking the wasabi crumbs off my fingers, and shuddering after every one – it burns, yet it’s so good. Curse you all! Find me some wasabi peas.

Did you miss the strange yet satisfying burning sensation when you put wasabi peas in your nose? =) I’m pretty sure they have wasabi peas in Asian supermarkets (7-Corners), you just need someone to take you there.
they sell them at asian stores – you can also get them at trader joe’s. if i remember, i’ll pick some up when i go grocery shopping.

hooray, replies – yes, I figured I’d be able to get them at an asian grocery store, but I live in yuppy-ville, and work in a ghetto region, so I might have to go on a grand expedition to hunt them down.
I’d somehow forgotten about putting the wasabi pea up my nose – perhaps my brain was trying to do me a favour…
Whats’ that you say, Peas in your nose?(Zoidberg) Reminds me of the days of snorting wizfizz, yes wizzfizz, thats it!
