Back from Iceland!

We spent the first couple of days in Reykjavik, failing to find Carmen Sandiego, and gradually adjusting to the six hour time difference. And to the fact that we’d found somewhere colder and windier than Canmore to spend our Summer holidays. Walking round the streets of Reykjavik can be downright freezing with that wind coming straight off the ocean.

Yep – I think travelling together with Finn helps perhaps. Stamp stamp, she didn’t even want to see our visa extension application, let alone the rest of the stuff we’d brought along just in case. But now to see what happens with the LMO….

Yep, it’s ridiculously gorgeous there – the low sun in the sky really makes for amazing light all the time, and there were hoards of photographers there. Totally recommend it as a holiday destination – Reykjavik is a really funky little city too, although the wind! The terrible cold cold wind!
