The Wedding

The main reason for the timing of our visit was to go to The Wedding… we didn’t take many photos, as there were photographers running around everywhere. Apparently they’ve now given the bride and groom something like 20-30 DVDs full of photos. Hurrah for the information age, it’ll probably take them all of 2011 to look at them all.

Until then, here are a couple of the snaps I got of the evening (you should try wrangling a baby while wearing black formal-wear, it’s all sorts of fun – amazingly, I managed not to have milk thrown up on me all night).

Exhausted after the effort of getting changed into his suit

Hanging out on the dinner table in his Bumbo

Socialising with others on the table

Hanging out in the bridal room after a quick feed and change, now ready to face the world again – when out wandering around, the Moosling was hanging out in his sling, which worked pretty well

Not included in the photos: the Bride and Groom, the madly energetic dancing, awesome band, hoards of friends and family filling the room, gorgeous venue, tasty food.

More time at the Nordic Centre with the Chariot

Up the Olympic Trail in the sun (as it shines through Whiteman’s Gap)

And across Meadowview – skating with the Chariot is a little more awkward than using classical skis, it tends to sway back and forth

Looking wistfully at the sun that hangs out on the sunny side, taunting us
