Christmas was fairly low key – it started off with a festive red singlet, a green nappy, and an exciting Weeties box for the Moosling to play with (he’s a fan).
Then continued with a visited to the flooded creek nearby – the last time it flooded was over 21 years ago… since Christmas the water has continued to creep upwards, and is now flowing over the road.
There was also roast lamb and pudding with custard. Which was tasty.
The main reason for the timing of our visit was to go to The Wedding… we didn’t take many photos, as there were photographers running around everywhere. Apparently they’ve now given the bride and groom something like 20-30 DVDs full of photos. Hurrah for the information age, it’ll probably take them all of 2011 to look at them all.
Until then, here are a couple of the snaps I got of the evening (you should try wrangling a baby while wearing black formal-wear, it’s all sorts of fun – amazingly, I managed not to have milk thrown up on me all night).
Not included in the photos: the Bride and Groom, the madly energetic dancing, awesome band, hoards of friends and family filling the room, gorgeous venue, tasty food.
Melbourne has been a whirlwind of visiting friends and family…

With the drought finally breaking, Melbourne is actually getting some Summer thunderstorms this year. And full double rainbows that come with them (the second rainbow was a lot more obvious in real life… rainbows are hard to photograph).
