{"id":737,"date":"2008-08-07T21:32:21","date_gmt":"2008-08-08T03:32:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/evilmoose.shafted.com.au\/?p=737"},"modified":"2014-02-07T22:24:01","modified_gmt":"2014-02-08T04:24:01","slug":"your-life-or-your-lupins-my-lord","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/evilmoose.me\/?p=737","title":{"rendered":"your life or your lupins, my lord"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Memorable events from my first day in the Yukon, in order of happening:<\/p>\n<ul>*  A German girl playing Abba&#8217;s song S.O.S. on the piano in the Bed and Breakfast we&#8217;d stayed at, thus inspiring me to start learning how to play the piano (I&#8217;m easily excited).<\/ul>\n[This was followed by an uneventful period in which we picked up a rental Subaru, looked at a gorge, picked Emma up from the airport, purchased food and camping things, then drove up towards Dawson City &#8211; which really isn&#8217;t a very exciting drive.]\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"dropshadow\" style=\"width:410px;position:relative;margin:auto;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/evilmoose.smugmug.com\/photos\/347886699_QTzGj-S.jpg\"\/><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>*  Testing the bear spray in calm air, leading to a cloud of spray which slowly dissipated in all directions.  This lead to much coughing and sneezing and teary eyes and cursing of Megan by everyone concerned.<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"dropshadow\" style=\"width:310px;position:relative;margin:auto;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/evilmoose.smugmug.com\/photos\/347750082_u8PQe-M.jpg\"\/><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>*  Finding lupins in Moose Creek Campground (LUPINS!!!..
