Alex had actually skied them during the Lake Louise Banff loppet, but they were new to me!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evilmoose.smugmug.com\/Snow\/2015-2016-Random-snow\/i-NvK9xkW\/0\/XL\/20160115-IMG_7504-XL.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s only three or four kilometres of trail, but good for a short and easy explore somewhere new.  I was curious too, as I was due to be doing the loppet myself the following week.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evilmoose.smugmug.com\/Snow\/2015-2016-Random-snow\/i-HrGrwV2\/0\/XL\/20160115-IMG_7509-XL.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As is standard, skiing with a small person involves equal parts skiing, and flopping about in the snow.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evilmoose.smugmug.com\/Snow\/2015-2016-Random-snow\/i-w8zPvW2\/0\/XL\/20160115-IMG_7517-XL.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evilmoose.smugmug.com\/Snow\/2015-2016-Random-snow\/i-DNn98s2\/0\/XL\/20160115-IMG_7521-XL.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evilmoose.smugmug.com\/Snow\/2015-2016-Random-snow\/i-x8qcWFc\/0\/XL\/20160115-IMG_7535-XL.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And then it was off to Banff for blue icecream and a visit to the ice train.
