It&#8217;s also filled with seals (well, a few at any rate) and boat buses full of tourists who don&#8217;t get to go life-threateningly close to the glacier, which is no fun at all.  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/evilmoose.smugmug.com\/Travel\/Iceland-2011\/i-kT9dw6D\/0\/M\/IMG5411-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/evilmoose.smugmug.com\/Travel\/Iceland-2011\/i-kmXNrtP\/0\/M\/IMG5433-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/evilmoose.smugmug.com\/Travel\/Iceland-2011\/i-D9XKn5s\/0\/M\/IMG5431-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After spending some time melting, the small glacial icebergs float out to sea and escape. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/evilmoose.smugmug.com\/Travel\/Iceland-2011\/i-jShsF9f\/0\/M\/IMG5443-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After having our fill of watching enormous glacier chunks and seals, we drove down the road to check out two of the smaller glacier lagoons nearby.  Brei\u00c3\u00b0\u00c3\u00a1rl\u00c3\u00b3n was so unimpressive that I&#8217;d suggest you could set up a similar attraction by throwing a few half-melted icecubes into a particularly muddy mud puddle. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/evilmoose.smugmug.com\/Travel\/Iceland-2011\/i-9j3MX4v\/0\/M\/IMG5449-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fjalls\u00c3\u00a1rl\u00c3\u00b3n on the other hand was quite cool.
