Went out to play in the snow today :)
There was a slight change of plans after realising the weather would be horrible for sea kayaking, and that there would in all likelihood be a reasonable amount of snow at Mount Baw Baw. We like the snow.
However, I would have preferred a late season this year, so I could theoretically get my thesis written and then go off and play in the last of the snow. I suppose 1) The season could still end up finishing late, or 2) The snow running out could encourage me to magically get my thesis written sooner (hah!)

Did you have to put chains on that pimped out van of yours? How did it’s european breed handle the temperatures of it’s home country?

Where are you in the snow???? we are heading to NZ in August, you should come!!!
Agent: Sadly, the van didn’t make it to the snow – usually it’s relegated to the paddocks when it comes to long drives that don’t require sleeping in the van at the end of them.
Dan: The pics are from Mt Baw Baw – and I would very much love to head to NZ for some skiing, but the thesis beckons… if I could get it finished in time…
